The Miami Heat could make a play for James Harden, but there are two other possibilities. Let’s take a look.

Return To Houston

Even when it comes to James Harden at this point, I don’t think his relationship with Houston is beyond repairable. I mean, would it be somewhat strained and dysfunctional, sure, but winning and money cures all.

With the recent addition of John Wall in exchange for Russell Westbrook, he would have a new teammate to try and build around, so perhaps that helps. Things are looking bleak right now, but it’s not safe to assume that this isn’t the eventual outcome of it all.

Headed to Brooklyn

For weeks now we have heard that James Harden desires to be Brooklyn. That would, of course, mean teaming up with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to try and make a run at the NBA Title.

This is actually what I believe he’s doing right now. He’s trying to make the Houston Rockets trade him.

The man did reportedly turned down an extension that would have paid him $50 million dollars a year. That’s a pretty clear sign.

These aren’t the only options though. There’s one more to explore.
