Miami Heat Rumors: 3 Reasons To Really Think Hard About Harden Deal

The Miami Heat are reportedly on the shortlist of teams that James Harden has called his preferred destinations. They shouldn’t move fast.

The Miami Heat made all the way to the NBA Finals last season with almost the same team as they have now. Yes, I am aware of what Jae Crowder did but I think between what Avery Bradley, Maurice Harkless, and an expanded role for Tyler Herro could do for this team, that production is more than accounted for.

Well, that hasn’t stopped the Miami Heat from finding themselves mixed up in the rumor mill. They again find themselves deep in the throws of the James Harden Saga.

We actually just asked recently if that was something that the Heat should keep an eye on. We saw embers but admittedly had no idea they would flame up this fast.

In any situation, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic (subscription required), the Miami Heat are on the list of James Harden’s preferred destinations, a list of only a few teams. Of the other teams, Charania said this.

"The list was Sources: James Harden now has the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat among his preferred trade destinations, along with the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets."

What do the Miami Heat do now? It’s their move.
