Duncan Robinson had one of the best seasons for the Miami Heat and the team will need him to get better. So, what are his 3 goals this season?

The Miami Heat struck gold again.

No one would have thought that Duncan Robinson was going to be one of the most important players for the Miami Heat in their playoff run, but that’s exactly what he was. Last season, he came in as pretty much a nobody.

Apart from Heat fans, did anyone actually know or had watched his game? Probably not.

He had no expectations and it wasn’t hard for him to impress anyone when he barely played the season before. Even then though, what he did was historic.

Everyone should know by now that Robinson had one of the greatest shooting seasons ever and it shouldn’t even be up for a debate.

In the regular season, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists on a ridiculous efficiency from deep, shooting 44.6 percent on 8.3 attempts. He easily solidified himself as a top-3 shooter in the NBA for this upcoming season.

In the playoffs, however, there was a dip in efficiency and you could clearly see him struggling in many games getting his shots and getting into a rhythm. But when I say a dip and struggling, I mean relative to his extreme standards in the regular season.

He was still tied first for the most threes made in the playoffs and amongst those with 100 or more attempts, he ranked second behind only Jamal Murray.

This season, teams will be ready though. They know who Duncan Robinson is and will most likely target him more often, mainly on defense.

So, here are 3 goals for him this season to be better than last season.
