The Miami Heat missed on Giannis Antetokounmpo, but they’ll be fine.

Miami Heat fans, brace yourselves. As many, if not all of you know by now, Giannis Antetokounmpo has re-signed with the Milwaukee Bucks, so the dream of him to Miami has died for now.

Plan A is gone for the Miami Heat but unlike some other franchises, such as the New York Knicks for example, Miami has a plan B, C, and D ready to run. Miami still has a good team coming back from their Finals run of last season and there is no clear-cut favorite in the East.

Like I said before, Miami has a plan B and that is James Harden. Whether or not if you like Harden’s game, Miami will now likely be looking to add him.

I, for one, still think Miami has a chance to go back to the Finals but going back and winning the NBA Finals are two different things. The Los Angeles Lakers got better and with that,  Miami need’s to as well.

Although the Lakers loss some players, they added some players that fill those gaps and are probably slightly better options than what they lost. Miami still has some options out there as well, while their younger guys do look promising.

The point of it all is that they need to take a step now. Somehow and in some way.
