The Miami Heat now have a ton of other options to choose from. They are practically limitless.

The Miami Heat still have choices and decisions to make. They actually have quite a bit more to choose from now.

I actually argued if this was a positive thing, for that very reason. Giannis signing the extension actually frees the Heat up to move with more purpose and creativity, which could help them win a title faster.

I Think The Miami Heat Will Indeed Trade For Another Star This Season

The Miami Heat’s chances of landing another star type player as soon as this season sometime just dramatically went up in my mind. With the mega piece that is Giannis off the board, they are totally free to be as creative as they can be.

When talking and dealing with Pat Riley, that is about as creative as it gets for NBA front offices. In fact, that’s about as creative as it gets for sports front offices and decision makers… period.

The Miami Heat will be fine. This is just another chance for Pat Riley to put his greatness on display.
