Miami Heat Rumors: Victor Oladipo chase reinvigorated by recent events?

The Miami Heat need to explore all their options again, including Victor Oladipo.

The Miami Heat are in a tricky situation. Well, no situation is entirely too tricky for Pat Riley but they are in a very dicey situation.

The guy that they, and a few other teams in all likelihood, had been setting themselves up to chase is now locked back into a five-year situation with his team. That would be Giannis Antetokounmpo for those interested in following along.

While the Miami Heat and Pat Riley, especially, are very adept at figuring out these kinds of challenging situations, the whale that has been the focus of Pat Riley’s attention for the last few seasons is off the board. That’s just darn unfortunate.

To make matters even more complicated, we also have the James Harden rumors swirling around. For starters, it would be all too easy to see how the Miami Heat’s front office and Riles could get swooped into that whole situation.

James Harden is a scoring machine, who’s still in his prime and has prime tread left beyond this season, however presents a massive risk as far as what it will take to land him and how far he can help you go without said pieces. It’s a very dicey scenario indeed.
