The Miami Heat are gearing up for Christmas and another season. Here’s their wish list.

The Miami Heat are gearing up for another year, just like every other team in the league. With a shorten 72 game schedule this season, I expect to see a really good season with a ratcheted up set of circumstances each and every night.

With that in mind, before we can get too deep into the year, we must first get it started. That all starts on Tuesday night, officially and for the entirety of the league. Though only two games on Tuesday’s opening tip, the Miami Heat are apart of a full schedule of games for Wednesday night.

They open the year against their in-state rivals, the Orlando Magic. With that game being their first on the schedule, their second comes against Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, Steven Adams, and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Losing to the Pelicans in their first game of the preseason, the Miami should already know that they are in for quite the task. Though it was only a preseason contest, the Pelicans showed that they can put up enough offense to run anybody out of the building on any given night.

That’s alright though, as the Miami Heat weren’t deploying a full unit and not at full operating strength, one would think. With that game being on Christmas Day though, it’s the perfect time to talk about the Miami Heat’s Christmas wish list.

That’s the first thing on it. A win against New Orleans on Christmas day.

Let’s look at the rest of the list.
