Surprise Miami Heat players ready to contribute: Max Strus

As we always scream and have banged against the wall here in this piece, the Miami Heat just know how to find talent. They do it better than anyone else in the league.

I will stand on that. Bar none.

This season, they seemed to have done it again. Max Strus was a guy that not many of us had heard about until the Miami Heat signed him at the beginning of training camp.

Yea, he’s played a few games in the league here and there, but no one thought he would come into Heat camp and do what he did. What was that?

Only shoot the ball as good as anyone not named Duncan Robinson. That’s saying a ton.

Not only can he shoot it but he can fire it off as quick, or quicker, than Robinson can. Also and dare I say, he is about as confident with it as Duncan is too.

Strus has shown variance in his game throughout the short preseason, so you also like that too. Even if he doesn’t do anything during the regular year but spot up along the perimeter though, he’s still a weapon and ready to contribute now.

He’s a microwave type of guy. He has shown to be able to come in cold and hit three or four big shots on you in a hurry… from the parking lot, might I add.

That’s why he is ready to contribute right away. He has an NBA ready talent that just so happens to be the most coveted ability in today’s league, shooting.

Not only does he just “have” a talent, but he’s elite at it. Hopefully, he will continue to show what landed him on this team.

The Miami Heat tip things off on Wednesday against Orlando. It should be a fun game to behold.

We can’t wait get down to business!
