What Can Precious Achiuwa Learn From Bam Adebayo: All-Around Unselfishness

Bam Adebayo is the player he is mostly because of how he approaches the game. That is in the most unselfish of manners.

The Miami Heat are a team that doesn’t believe in seeing the ball stick to one player, always wanting the ball to pop from player to player. Along with the ball movement though, they are also key on man movement.

No matter which one of those you are talking about, Bam’s unselfishness shows itself in each element. When thinking about some of the fantastic dimes he drops off, that’s the ball movement part of his unselfishness.

He seems to really enjoy getting his guys open off of picks as well, that’s a huge part of the man movement of his unselfishness. Basically, no matter what it takes for his team to win and his teammates to be successful, that’s what he is going to do.

The thing about it all is this though. He has become a superstar by playing that way.

Imagine that. He is a guy that believes in putting the team first and he is still a superstar in the league.

Just so we are clear though, his unselfishness shows up on both sides of the ball. Be that leaving his man to help one of his teammates, those aforementioned weakside, help side, or chase down blocks we talked about, or even sliding over in front of a teammates man to draw a charge, sacrificing his body in the process.

Bam Adebayo is one of the most unselfish superstars that we have ever seen. That quality is something else that Precious could learn from him.
