The Miami Heat probably found starter number five. His name is Kelly… Kelly Olynyk.

We asked a few days ago if the fifth starter was even on the roster and it appears that he is. Kelly Olynyk was stellar on Monday night.

He was his usual “do everything” and versatile self but sometimes it takes something extra to see the value in it and what he brings to the team. The Miami Heat’s necessity at this moment must be that something.

He should be the guy moving forward. Those are the four things of note though.

Which was it that led to the Miami Heat winning this game? Perhaps it was a bit of them all.

That doesn’t really matter either though at this point. What does matter is that the three things in the Miami Heat’s control, those being Jimmy Butler’s availability, KO being the fifth starter, and the cutting down on the turnovers, were managed and managed well on Monday.

They not only ensured a Heat win on Monday but should help them to continue to pile them up moving forward. We will be hoping that they can continue these sharp ways on Wednesday against a tough Boston Celtics team, where the Miami Heat will need to be sharp again to get a win in the first edition of the rematch from last season’s NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
