The Miami Heat heat have been searching for a fifth starter and I think they found him on Monday.

The Miami Heat have gotten off to a bumpy start to the year. All things considered, that being that they went on a long NBA Finals run just a few months back to close last season and the fact that Jimmy Butler hasn’t played in most of their games, they are in an ok position.

Even without Jimmy Butler in the lineup though, they were able to get some things done, such as avenge an embarrassing loss to the Milwaukee Bucks by returning the favor the following night. Something they also needed to get done as he made his return though was to figure out who that fifth and final guy would ultimately and permanently be in the starting lineup.

They had tried a few guys there to start the year, but none really popped off the page. It wasn’t until Monday night’s game against Oklahoma City where that happened and boy, did it.

Needless to say, welcome to the starting lineup Kelly Olynyk. Here are three reasons he is probably the right guy for the Miami Heat in that unit.
