The Miami Heat finally got a win on Saturday. After dropping five straight and 8 of their last 10 contests prior to Saturday’s game against Sacramento, the Miami Heat finally got on the right side of the ledger again.

With the return of Jimmy Butler, the Miami Heat found a way to return to victory. It was a beautiful thing.

The Miami Heat were whole again and everything was right in Heat Nation. Well, for about a minute.

Tyler Herro, of the Miami Heat, revealed that a roommate had tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday.

It was during questions after the contest that a huge revelation was made. It came from Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat.

Here it is. It comes via the Twitter account of the Associated Press’s Tim Reynolds.

Pain. That’s all.

Major pain with this announcement. Here’s the thing though and as Reynolds says here, we are unclear of the details of if it puts or keeps him out though.

Although it’s fair to say that he’ll be away from the team for a few days at least, based on how the league has handled these scenarios all year, we don’t know how long that’ll be. I say that in reference to the Los Angeles Clippers situation.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard missed minimal time, relatively, compared to some other guys around the league and that includes our own. So, again, we are unsure what this means at the moment.

We can say this though. If it means an extended absence for him or any of our guys, at least we know what we are in for.

That doesn’t mean that we will or have to like it either, but it does mean that we have been here before. It’ll be interesting and nail-biting to see just how this shakes out.

On top of just Herro though, he had contact with his teammates and the other team on Saturday, so if there is something to it, it likely won’t just be him. The Miami Heat have been ravaged by absence this season, for one reason or another.

Let’s keep our eyes on this one and hope it isn’t as awful as it could be or has been. If it is though, at least we kind of know what we’re in for.
