What I love most about the NBA, besides the Miami Heat, is that there’s really four different seasons within a calendar year: The Off-Season, Regular Season, Trade Season, and Post-Season. As we grind through the regular season, we, as fans, also get to enjoy the influx of trade rumors ahead of the NBA trade deadline, which happens to fall on March 25th this season.

With the updated schedule, we now have multiple reasons to refer to the happenings of this month as March Madness. Miami has been thrown into a hodgepodge of trades during the course of the season.

Some as big as say… Kyle Lowry, Bradley Beal, Victor Oladipo, and more. Others have been smaller, but what I thought would be smart would be to try and break down what Miami really “needs” and not just a luxury.

With the fake trades above, these are mostly centered around a guy who can handle the ball and initiate the offense. That’s a mistake in my opinion, as they already have Jimmy Butler, Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and of course Bam Adebayo who all already meet that skill set.
