The Miami Heat are in a tricky position right now. It’s not so much tricky as in a bad place to be or inescapable, as much as they are in a place that’s tough to read.

Just two and a half weeks ago, a lot of people would have said that a total rebuild was needed and that this team wasn’t capable of reaching their ultimate goals. That would have ultimately wound up reflecting that the Heat were nothing more than what they had been called at the beginning of the year and what people were starting to call them again, a fluke when it came to last season’s accomplishments.

With that though, they have since managed to turn it around and though not reflective in the overall record or standings, their play over the last two weeks looks exactly like the team that they are supposed to be and the team that rolled all the way to the NBA Finals last year. With that being said though, are they still in need of such drastic moves?

More appropriately, do they really need to do that much to this team? I’m not a fan of a major move, but if they must make a trade with someone, they should definitely take a look in the direction of the Chicago Bulls.

The Miami Heat may not need to make a major deal, but if they trade at all, Chicago should get a call.

The Miami Heat could use help in several different areas. They include perimeter defense, attacking the center of defenses, rim protection, and rebounding, to name what I would consider the most pressing needs.

Well, the Chicago Bulls have several guys that they might consider letting go or may even be looking to let go of that fit those bills. Whether it be Otto Porter, Zach LaVine, Or Thaddeus Young, they can all help the Miami Heat right now.

They are all playing really well right now as well and let’s be honest, the Bulls are still at least two years away from seriously contending, if not a lot further. They would be better used in Miami.

So and again, though I don’t think the Heat need anything major, they should give Chicago a buzz before doing anything. Because if they are looking to deal, the three guys mentioned might not be bad looks at the right price.
