5 players Miami Heat want on court late- Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo

The Miami Heat would love for all of their guys to be able to do everything on the floor. They would love to truly be postionless, a trend they actually started with the Big 3 era Miami Heat.

That’s why this next guy is a must.

Bam Adebayo

Bam Adebayo makes the Heat go. He is the reason that their team and offense runs as fluidly as it does.

He is also the reason why it appears as though the Miami Heat have a free form defense. If it appears that defenders run players to the paint and simply, let them go, it’s because that is what is happening… but by design.

The defender forces players into the paint and then picks up the kickoff man. This is possible because Bam has the ability to quickly assess and get himself into position without causing too much ruckus or getting into foul trouble.

He’s is the reason that, both, their defense and offense work. That’s the reason you have to have him on the court late for you to close games.

Tyler Herro

This one may shock some people, but then again, maybe it won’t. Boy-wonder is as cool as they come.

That demeanor and mentality, along with his ability to create, take, and make tough shots for himself, are what makes it necessary that he’s on the court late. He’s still a young player, so there are issues and growing pains.

However, what he is able to do and generate for your team on the other end in the form of shot making and creation is worth the other stuff. When you need a look, he may not always be able to get you one, but there are few players on the court for either team at any given time that should be trusted more to able to get you one than he is.

That’s why he finds himself on the court late in games. The pace, game, and offense tends to bog down, but he can go and create it for himself, mostly anytime he wants.

The Miami Heat are right in the middle of conference contention at this moment and continuously swinging upward. They have a chance to finish with a top seed in the East if their trajectory continues.

Having these guys on the court for them to help them close games will surely go a long way towards reaching that ultimate goal. If they can, somehow, find a way to make another run this postseason, their chances are, at least, slightly greater than they were last year.

You base that on experience from last season and the fact that they have already endured the worst and as bad as any other team will or has endured this season. Again, your Miami Heat are back!
