Miami Heat Trade Rumors taking a toll on them and they know it
The Miami Heat were defeated for the fourth time straight in four attempts on Tuesday night and this one was probably the worst of the four. Though the final score may have not been indicative of it being the worst defeat, the way it happened more than reflects this fact.
They competed in the game against Memphis, pulling all the way back in the final moments. Though a full court Ja Morant driving layup costed them the game, they didn’t just hand it away.
In both Indiana games, they tried. They couldn’t stop T.J. McConnell or their three point shooting in the first game, while they couldn’t hit enough shots to win the second.
In the game on Tuesday though against Phoenix, some of the Miami Heat guys looked as though they weren’t even there at times. Most notably, you saw this from guys that have been heavily mentioned in trade rumors.
The Miami Heat seem to be players at the NBA Trade Deadline, but will they actually deal?
Be that Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, or Kelly Olynyk, all of those guys seemed as if they had gotten in their own heads. Kendrick Nunn’s name has been out there a bit too, but he didn’t show it in a way that you would say he’s bothered.
Again though, it is noticeable. So much so, Bam Adebayo spoke to the fact after Tuesday night’s debacle of a defeat.
The NBA’s trade deadline is Thursday afternoon, which is still a day or so away but for everyone’s sake, it needs to hurry up. The Miami Heat seem as though they’ll make another trade, but they might not.
One might think that based on the fact that there are still surely guys to become available via the buyout market, such as LaMarcus Aldridge. With a few options to choose from, there is no telling how Pat Riley will play it.
One thing is clear though, the sooner that day passes, the better off for the guys mentioned above. Either they’ll be in a new city or in Miami, carefree about whether they’ll be finishing the year there or not.
