The Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics have never been friends, so to speak. Darn the “so to speak”, over the years, they’ve grown to not like each other.

That’s, at least, the case for several of the latest iterations or eras of Miami Heat basketball. Specifically of note, the Big 3 Era Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics of their same era, don’t care too much for each other.

While it’s apparent, you don’t hear an awful lot of it from the Miami Heat side, to be totally honest. Well, you might, but you don’t hear “a lot” in comparison to what you hear from the other side.

Paul Pierce has constantly made it a thing of his to talk about the players from that era of Miami Heat ball. For example, all one would have to do is search “Paul Pierce and Dwyane Wade” or “Paul Pierce and Miami Heat” and then everything would be right before you.

There are probably numerous scenarios that would come back from the web search. Again though, you rarely hear much from the Miami Heat’s side, until now.

The Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics have battled over the years, so it’s no secret as to why they aren’t friendly.

Recently, Miami Heat Lifer and legend, Udonis Haslem, spoke with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes on their All The Smoke Podcast. He had a few words on the topic, to say the least.

You can see and hear for yourself.

Ok, perhaps he had more than a few and rightfully so. It’s safe to say that Udonis Haslem feels a certain type of way about Paul Pierce and the things he chooses to say.

The biggest takeaway here is that the people that are on the other side of those Pierce comments are aware. They are aware that they are being made, response or not, while they also have to be aware that Pierce is extremely aware and purposeful in what he does or says.

Basically, Pierce knows exactly what he’s doing and the reasons for which he’s doing it. Though certain actions are never righteous or look past-able, if someone is doing something with purpose and awareness of said action, that makes all the difference in the world.

UD said as much, as he insinuated that no matter the age, time, or place, if eye to eye with The Truth, there might be consequences or at least a squabble to attempt to deliver them. You have to respect Udonis Haslem.

He says little, but sees all. If anything doesn’t mean as much to someone as “it” means to UD, then it’s best to let it alone.

Udonis Haslem gets it. He seems to be itching to, potentially, express that to Paul Pierce as well.
