The Miami Heat are taking advantage of the space that they’ve been afforded recently.
Each and every member of the Miami Heat has been playing with a different level of swagger and spacing since the new members have arrived. While their presences have certainly helped to bolster each area, has to be admitted, everyone has also been on their best games.
While Victor Oladipo isn’t scoring as well as he should at some point yet, his presence, gravity and playmaking are all making a difference. Trevor Ariza is beginning to make shots as well but again, with this kind of space, you’d almost expect him to as the pro that he is and has been.
Again, it’s the Cavaliers but if this doesn’t do it for you, it hasn’t been just them. Take into consideration a play against the Golden State Warriors recently, where Duncan Robinson finishes at the rim and with a little pizazz on it as well.
Duncan can do more of this, but he doesn’t do enough. With that, consider the amount of space available for Robinson to convert.
That’s space that has only been afforded in the last five games or so since the deadline deals. The Miami Heat are appearing to begin to really round into form.
They are starting to try to look eerily similar to the team that played in the NBA Bubble last season. They aren’t that team again yet, because they still need to string together a couple of wins against higher quality opponents first to show it at the highest level, but they are checking all of the boxes at the moment.
Hopefully, things continue to progress as they have. If so, a title run is again potentially at play.
