The Miami Heat made a couple of huge deals, impact-wise, at the NBA’s Trade Deadline and they immediately began to pay off. Although they hadn’t been flawless since the trade deadline, they had managed to do a bunch of good stuff, while you could see what they could be at their peaks with the new additions in tow.

Specifically referencing one of the new acquisitions in particular in Victor Oladipo, he hadn’t started to come on offensively from a scoring perspective until the Miami Heat’s recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. The reports have been vague since the injury, with no one really wanting to give too much on the situation, in either direction. While his absence was listed as indefinite, reports also began to indicate that he would be seeking a second opinion outside of the Heat’s staff and with their blessing.

What does it all mean though? Is no new news with him good news?
