The Miami Heat’s greatest, Dwyane Wade, advised Steph Curry on the potential road ahead after dynastic greatness.

After winning three titles for the Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry and that franchise have experienced what can only be defined as hardship or conflict. For starters, the injury bug hasn’t been kind to them.

Draymond Green has spent a ton of his time rehabbing, losing weight, or getting back to himself after injury since their last real dynastic moments. Steph Curry has dealt with his fair share of injury as well, playing in only 125 games, total, across the prior three seasons to this one.

Klay Thompson hasn’t played basketball in two seasons after dealing with severe injuries in both legs. He tore his left ACL bak on June 13th of 2019 and his right Achilles on November 19 of 2020.

That’s just the guys that are still there. Kevin Durant was injured on his way out of the door and still hasn’t quite been able to get right since joining Brooklyn.

That was evident in the The Bam Game recently. You know, the one that saw Bam Adebayo sink the game-winning shot as time ran out.

That leads into the second-half of the equation with their struggles, not being able to find the right mix of talent. After Durant left and with all the injury, they’ve had a merry-go-round of guys in and out, without being able to find the right mix.

Dwyane Wade knows about that though. He went from an early title with Shaq, to being one of the worst teams in the league, to forming the Big 3 with LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

So, for more reasons than one, it makes sense that the Miami Heat legend would have a word of advice. He’s lived it all before, in some form or fashion.
