It has been an up and down Miami Heat season and that could be for multiple reasons, but all answers would be valid. For me, the ability to score has been hard for Miami.

There has been too much pressure on Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Duncan Robinson to create points. Miami does not have anyone on the roster who is a three level scorer and it shows when Miami is struggling on offense.

Last season and especially during the bubble, Goran Dragic and Tyler Herro were huge for Miami when it came to scoring the ball, especially Dragic, who was Miami’s best scorer throughout the NBA Final’s run.

But, this year, it hasn’t been the case for either player. Dragic, sadly, looks old at times and Herro just hasn’t been himself this year.

With Herro dealing with a foot injury and not shooting the ball like he did last year, that hurt Miami a ton. Victor Oladipo was acquired this past trade deadline to provide some scoring and on ball defense but also sadly, got injured on April 8th and still hasn’t returned.
