The Miami Heat had an awful showing on Tuesday night. Without their superstar, Jimmy Butler, in the lineup, they were manhandled by Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.

While that game is now in the rearview for Miami, moving forward, there are a few questions worth asking. How far can this team go, as currently constructed, is one good question.

What’s the rotations look like, when and if, everyone can come back? That includes Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo, who might be back soon if the rumblings in the grapevines are correct.

More specifically and based off of that second question though, does Max Strus continue to receive tick once the team is closer to full health? That is also a tough question, but one with a simple answer.

The answer is yes. Though, it has caveats.

At full strength, the Miami Heat will be a bit deeper than they have been over the last few games, while you also have to consider that Coach Spo tends to shorten his rotations as things progress. With that though, you also have to consider the Miami Heat’s lack of firepower or their inability to get good offense at times.
