The Miami Heat are grasping for anything heading into a crucial Game 3 matchup against the Bucks in the opening round of their NBA Playoffs. After such a heartbreaking loss in Game 1 at the last minute and after going down 0-2 in an ugly defeat to the Bucks on Monday night, 98-132, the Miami Heat need to figure some things out.

Luckily for them, one thing actually revealed itself on Monday night, or himself, at least. In a game with the ugliest of consequences for the Miami Heat, Dewayne Dedmon was one of the bright spots, if not the only one.

Across 21 minutes of action, one of his highest minute outputs since joining the team, he finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and two assists on 8-11 from the field and 1-2 from deep. He finished as both the leading rebounder and scorer for the Miami Heat in the process.

With Jimmy Butler having, arguably, his worst playoff-start ever, you need all you can muster. Also, with Bam not attacking his matchups as frequently as they need him to right now, that’s another reason to get every ounce of juice out whichever tree is producing fruit.
