The Miami Heat have been treated like children in the rebounding department and Dewayne Dedmon’s size can be a factor there.

Lastly, when you look at the rebounding totals across the first two games, they’re despicable. The first game is bad, but the second game… that’s next-level hatred type awful.

In total, they’ve been out-rebounded 125-87 but only by 13 in Game 1, at 51-64. While and as mentioned, getting killed on the glass by double digits is awful anytime, getting slammed by a margin of 25 is just pathetic.

That’s what they did in Game 2, to a whopping tune of 61-36 in Milwaukee’s favor. While you don’t know if he can make up for all that ineptitude, as they just seemed to let rebounds fly over their heads on Monday night for Bucks second chance attempts, Dedmon certainly seems capable of, at least, helping in the area.

The Miami Heat are on the brink of going home early and in embarrassing fashion. They need to make all the tinkers that they can to shift this series back around.

More Dewayne Dedmon or an equal amount as his big Game 2, at the very least, would go a long way there. They at least have to try it, right?
