The Miami Heat will need to look around the league when considering a Duncan Robinson deal soon.

Well, here’s the gist of it all. When looking at Harris, the Nets thought that they were building something else, meaning that they probably wouldn’t have handed him that deal had they known where they were headed with their current team. When you look at Bertans, his deal was built similarly, though for five more million and across one more year. However, there were rumors that Bertans was made available this past season, just a year into his new deal.

This is what it all means. When you look at these deals, for starters, the teams may have had a little buyer’s remorse soon after making them.

That’s something the Miami Heat may want to keep in mind when negotiating with Robinson. When looking at how he stacks up against the guys that got the money, it’s pretty simple.
