This Miami Heat season is finally over with and honestly, thank heavens for that. This season was such a drag, as this current Miami team was fighting a losing battle all year long.

But the pity party is over now and it’s time to move on, hopefully to get this team back on track. With that being said, changes will need to be made on the coaching staff and the roster.

Miami has some free agents to be and options to contracts that could help them in the trade market or free more cap space. There lies the question though, mainly surrounding who will be back next year and who will be gone?

Tyler Herro

Tyler Herro, had a volatile year and a hard time figuring out what his role was going to be. Earlier in the year, Herro was the starting point guard and struggled in that role.

After struggling in that role, he went back to the bench and was just okay off the pine. Herro didn’t make that leap in year two and now, where does the Miami Heat front office go from here?

Miami can bet on Herro being in the gym all summer and making the leap in year three or they can put him on the trading block, but has Herro’s stock gone down after this past year? Personally, I think it definitely went down but teams can be persuaded.

The sophomore slump is a real thing, which could work both ways for Miami. They could be looking at keeping him, banking on his third year being a bounce back year or Miami could be telling teams what was just stated to boost up his value.

Prediction – Traded

Don’t fret though, there are more.
