The Miami Heat have big decisions to make on some small guys, but what will they do?

The Miami Heat also have a big decision to make on a fixture of the last few years, Goran Dragic. Like Herro, Dragic had an up and down year coming off the bench, but unlike Herro, Dragic knew what his role was from the start of the year.

Goran Dragic

Dragic, had some flashes this year, which is to be expected with Dragic at his age. Everyone loves Dragic, who has a team option for $19 million.

If I had to guess, Miami would decline his option. I want to bring back Dragic for one more year but at what price will Miami want Dragic at?

Miami has some cap space to make some moves in a weak free agency class, this is true. Dragic would have to take a pay cut for, perhaps, his last year and a chance for a ring.

I could see Dragic coming back for one last ride.

Prediction : – Re-Signed

Kendrick Nunn

After a rough time in the NBA Bubble last season, Kendrick Nunn came back this year and manned dual roles, coming off the bench and starting at times. Nunn would even, at times, find himself out of the rotation.

Even though Nunn he had a decent season, I was overly impressed with Nunn’s mental toughness. That takes a lot for a young player in the league who is trying to find himself.

But in his first free agency, Nunn will be looking to get paid. There have been rumors around Nunn getting up to $15 million and if that’s the case, then Miami will likely pass on that.

I like what Nunn can do as a player but Miami is in win now mode. That means that I think the Miami Heat will look for an upgrade at point guard.

Prediction : Nunn leaves in a sign and trade
