The Miami Heat could always use a veteran presence and a quality big man, so, does that mean they keep these guys?

Who would of thought that Miami would of won the Justise Winslow trade at that time, but they did. They got players that have helped them be very good over the past two seasons and for relatively cheap.

Andre Iguodala

Miami acquired Jae Crowder, Solomon Hill and Andre Iguodala last season from Memphis, with Crowder and Iguodala being huge in last years Finals run. But this year with Crowder and Hill leaving in free agency, Iguodala was the only man left from the trade.

Iguodala had an okay year and by watching games this year you could tell his age has caught up to him. But Iguodala still has quick hands and when guys try to post him up, he ends up stripping the ball more than half the time.

However, at $15 million dollars next year and with a team option, I find it hard to believe that Iguodala will be brought back to Miami. It’s pretty simple when it comes to what Miami can do with Iguodala.

They can either decline his $15 million or pick up his option to use it in a trade. Either way, Miami fans should be happy with what Iggy brought to the team over the past two seasons.

Prediction: Traded

Dewayne Dedmon

Dedmon was a nice find for Miami, who signed him towards the end of the year. Dedmon was the perfect reserve center for Miami, as Miami got killed on the glass a ton this season and with Dedmon being seven feet tall, he gave Miami much needed size and minutes to spare Bam Adebayo.

I would like to have seen more minutes with Dedmon and Adebayo this year, but that didn’t happen as much as I would have liked. Again, he was a great find for Miami and hopefully, we see more minutes with him and Bam moving forward.

This obviously means what it means.
