The Miami Heat didn’t get the best out of their rookie last season, Precious Achiuwa

Coming into this season, the Miami Heat and their guys will have a regular and in some cases, full, offseason to work with. Heading into his first season last year, Miami Heat rookie big man, Precious Achiuwa, was just thrown into the mix.

When you think about potential, it means that there is an opportunity, a likelihood, and a route. For Precious, the opportunity will be there, as it was there as soon as this season.

The likelihood revolves around the relevancy here. In his first season, you could see that he just needed to play more ball.

Simply based on how out of sorts he looked, at times, this past season, he has to be better than that. That’s where the likelihood of it all comes into play, as he has to be better than last year with just a little more experience under his belt.

Lastly, the route. As mentioned, he saw major opportunity last season.

With another year of service under his belt, those opportunities should only rise. That’s why he is the first of the three Miami Heat players with the most potential for next season.
