The Miami Heat needed to make a move this past season. They had seemed to be prepping for it for a while, just biding their time until the right chords could be struck on a deal.

Then it happened. On March 25th of this past season, the day of the NBA Trade Deadline, the Miami Heat acquired Victor Oladipo from the Houston Rockets for a package that included Kelly Olynyk, Avery Bradley, and a 2022 1st round pick.

The Miami Heat had won the deal on paper and based on everything that was believed, as far as what Oladipo could potentially add to this Heat team. Just seven games into his Heat tenure though, only four of them actually seeing him play, he would endure an injury that saw his season end for good.

When he was right for the Miami Heat, though only shortly, he was a pretty good player. Across four games played, he averaged 12 points, three assists, and 3.5 boards per contest.

Though that wasn’t great, it was decent from a raw numbers perspective. It isn’t just about totals in The League though.
