The Miami Heat are in the market for players. While they have two cornerstones that they are building around, in Bam and Jimmy, they are in the market for a few other particular pieces as well.
While a third star would be welcomed with opened arms, if they could somehow land one with their lack of available assets and resources, it isn’t the most clearly visible option. However, they have been looking for someone that pairs well with Bam Adebayo, it seems.
Kelly Olynyk fit, however, he was also one of the most trade-friendly assets in a deal to land Victor Oladipo this past season. Dewayne Dedmon would fit better than most think, but that wasn’t tinkered with enough last season to know one way or another.
Ömer Yurtseven could be the answer, but he is a developmental player at the moment and you can’t hang your hat on that. They have also been looking for another lead guard type option.
While Oladipo was that, for a while, his injury was a real setback for all parties involved. It would also help a ton if that guy could score a bit at all three levels, but create a shot for himself or his teammates at any of the levels, at least, half the time or more.
With that, there have been three guys in these NBA Playoffs that have not only performed at a hight clip, but fit the aforementioned needs of Miami. They all also happen to be coming up on a free agency period for themselves.
With that, here are three NBA Playoff Performers that deserve the Miami Heat’s attention in this free agency.
