The Miami Heat will, hopefully, give Duncan Robinson what it takes to keep him. Then though, he’ll have to keep playing like a guy that deserves it.

Duncan Robinson is about to get a very nice deal this offseason. It’s been reported and by the NBA Scoop-Master himself, Adrian Wojnarowski, that Duncan Robinson may get as much as $20 million this offseason.

Begin To Live Up To The Deal He’s About To Sign

To be honest about it all, half of the money that Duncan is about to get is for the work he’s put in to become the player he is, for what he’s already done (if with Miami and hopefully), and lastly, then the other half for what he will soon moving forward. He’s already proven that he’s a pretty good player and great at what he does, plus shooters get paid in today’s NBA, so there’s that.

However, there will always be those chatters if he reverts in any way or fashion. Now, on the other end, a guy typically only has to play up to his same level and hopefully, better or at the aforementioned Bubble season level, for that first season before those chatters begin to dissipate.

So, if he can manage to come out and be himself, from either of the past two seasons, across the majority of the year and for the most part in the big moments next season, then he’ll be succeeding with flying colors. That’s why that’s his third goal for 2021-22.

He’s about to experience something he hasn’t yet in the NBA, the expectations that come with a big salary and that isn’t always easy. He should do fine though, as the Miami Heat prepare you for that every day in that organization.

Next. Davis Bertans, Joe Harris, and Duncan Robinson’s New Contract. dark

Hopefully, Duncan can knock all of these goals out of the park and most importantly, in a Miami Heat uniform. They are lofty, somewhat, but he should be able to hit them.
