The Miami Heat were unceremoniously ousted in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs and at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. For what it’s worth and if there is a bright side to be found, this is the same Bucks team that, by hook or by crook, has somehow managed to make it all the way to the NBA Finals.

Again, for what that’s worth. Either way it stands though and for the Miami Heat, they didn’t meet their own high expectations as a team, you can be sure of that.

As the old adage goes though, a unit, something, or the whole is only as good as the sum of the parts. With that, the Miami Heat had a few players that didn’t quite reach expectations in 2020-21 either.

While there are some names that might be expected to appear on this list that won’t, there will also be a few that might not be expected that will. Regardless of your position, all of the following has more than enough merit to, at least, qualify.
