The Miami Heat are not good enough to contend for a championship with their current roster, a revelation that came to light at the hand of the Milwaukee Bucks in the form of a first round sweep.

With that being said, Andy Elisburg, Pat Riley, and Erik Spoelstra have a whole offseason to fix the roster up and make sure the Heat are back where they belong… competing for titles.

Keeping that in mind, this is my opinion of what the ideal offseason would look like for the Miami Heat, in terms of bringing in players and letting them go. I’m going to try to be, at least, a little realistic, which means readers should not expect to see players like Damian Lillard or Kawhi Leonard, despite recent reports the Heat might be frontrunners to sign him.

With that little disclaimer out of the way, here is the perfect Miami Heat offseason. I am going to go by position to fill out the roster and there is no better position to begin with than the team’s main floor general.
