The Miami Heat have a bunch of players entering free agency this offseason. Not only that, but some of them are very important pieces to their team.

Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn are going to be restricted free agents. Both could receive offers upwards of $15-$20 million.

In addition, Goran Dragic and Andre Iguodala both have team options this offseason. If accepted, the Miami Heat would owe Dragic $19.4 million and Iguodala $15 million.

On top of that Victor Oladipo, Trevor Ariza, and Dewayne Dedmon will all enter free agency. It’s safe to say that the team has a lot of work to do.

They could potentially have some money to spend in free agency, but bringing back their core pieces should be a priority. Robinson in particular is too important of a player to lose.

With that being said, the Heat can’t roll into next season with the same bench they have right now. If they let Dragic and Iguodala walk, Tyler Herro, KZ Okpala, and Precious Achiuwa would make up their entire second unit.

That’s obviously not a very talented bench unit, so changes are definitely in order. It’s just a matter of how Pat Riley decides to do things.

Since most of the offseason budget will likely go towards Robinson’s new contract, trades could be the best path forward. The only issue with that is, the Heat don’t have a ton of assets.

Picking up the team options for Dragic and Iguodala would create two decent pieces to trade, but past that there isn’t much to work with. What kind of trades could Pat Riley pull off?
