The Miami Heat have a few things they need to accomplish but don’t, necessarily, have all of the assets to get it done. While that may be the case on some fronts, there seems to be a groundswell of opinion and notion that seems to believe that they can or should trade back into the first round of this year’s upcoming NBA Draft.

While that may be the case, that could also, just as well, not be the case. What say you?

Well, the folks here at AUCH have a take. Should the Miami Heat be looking to trade back into the first round of the NBA Draft?

Although Miami is severely lacking in draft capital, let alone quality assets, it’s kept them out of consideration of being a top-suitor for most pieces. To put it simply, the Heat shouldn’t force involvement in this year’s draft.

You lean on free-agency and you show teams what you have in trades. However, we’re still a month away from the draft, meaning several narratives can and will change by then.

If the Heat are looking to create a package deal for a star, it’s recommended that a reasonable option is to unload Tyler Herro for two first-rounders. However, I believe it’s just too early to have a definitive direction, as more rumors are sure to begin to unfold.
