The Miami Heat have rostered their fair share of bright and exuberant personalities throughout their years. From the photobombing exploits of Chris Bosh to the wild hair and tatted-up frame of the BirdmanChris Andersen, they’ve always had more than enough personality to go around.

Even among all of them though, there has never been another player on the Miami Heat’s roster and perhaps throughout the entire history of the NBA with a bigger personality than the man with a million names. The Big Aristotle, The Diesel, Superman, and most popularly, Shaq, Shaquille O’Neal is arguably the most colorful, exciting, and recognizable figure, face, and personality that the league has ever seen.

Save for a few guys, height wise anyways, he’s arguable one of the largest guys to ever grace the NBA hardwood. Heck, that would have to mean that he’s one of the largest human beings to ever grace the face of the Earth too.

NBA All-Timer and Former Miami Heat Champion, Shaquille O’Neal, broke out into a happy-cry on Wednesday. Why?

What on the face of this green Earth, then, could make a man of that magnitude and stature… cry? Well, see for yourself.

In reaction to guest of his The Big Podcast, co-host and analyst on TNT, fellow professional athlete and ball player, and what appears to be genuine friend, Candace Parker, being an NBA2K cover player for the upcoming edition, O’Neal seemingly broke into tears.

"I think as a kid you grow up with Slam covers all over your bedroom ceiling. As a hooper, you grow up wanting your own shoe and you grow up wanting to be on a video game. So for this to happen, I mean, I just remember growing up playing with Shaq.Like, playing with my brothers against Shaq and getting it down low for him to do his hook. And, you know, as your days kind of get fewer in your career and you know that there’s more basketball behind you than in front of you, I think you really take these moments. And so this means a lot."

Parker finished her statement with excitement, not only about the fact of the cover itself but over the fact that she hopes this opportunity is a kickstarter for more women to have opportunities like these. It was a great moment, all-around.

You could tell too. That’s, likely, one of the very few things that could make Shaq cry.
