Nicolas Batum had a resurgence last year and would provide a great two-way presence at the four for the Miami Heat.

Nicolas Batum had a great bounce-back season last year with the Los Angeles Clippers. After some disappointing years in Charlotte, he finally showed his value again last season.

His versatility on the defensive end is one of his best skills. At 6-8, he can effectively guard the perimeter and the paint.

Batum even spent some time at the center for the Clippers. His versatility gives him the ability to play at the three, four, or even as a small-ball five.

Offensively, Batum has the ability to stretch the floor. He had some rough shooting years with the Hornets but shot the ball at an elite level last season in LA.

He averaged 8.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists last season while shooting 46.4% from the field and 40.4% from deep.

His ability to playmake is another enticing part of his game. Batum could act as a secondary playmaker behind Jimmy Butler.

The Clippers will likely make a big-time push to keep him around, but the Miami Heat should at least make him an offer. Anywhere from $5-$8 million could be enough to pry him away.
