The Miami Heat found themselves missing Jae Crowder as this past season progressed. Needing a player of his ilk, they were fortunate enough to be able to come across the deal that netted them Trevor Ariza.

A big part of what they were able to do down the stretch, as far as avoiding a play-in scenario, the Miami Heat needed all he could afford them. He hit big shots and make big defensive plays.

Though he wasn’t as effective in the postseason, an ankle injury he sustained down the stretch had to have still been bothering him, as he isn’t as ineffective a player as he was in that lone series.

With that though, the Miami Heat might want to bring back a guy that could be had for as efficient a price as he likely will be able to, but that can still offer a certain level of experience and production. They won’t be alone though, as he’ll likely have a few suitors.

Here are the top three of those. These are the three most likely threats to sign Trevor Ariza away this offseason.
