Miami Heat: 3 Threats To Sign Away Trevor Ariza: LA Lakers & New York Knicks

There are certain teams and certain players, to be specific, that are always looking for veterans who can make an impact, especially the relatively cheap.

Los Angeles Lakers

Lebron James teams always find themselves in need of veterans that won’t cost a ton, but can make a meaningful contribution. Trevor Ariza is the epitome of that right now.

With his remaining ability to defend, his ability to knock down the three ball, and his versatility in many facets, the Lakers will surely be giving him a call. Their just the first of three though.

New York Knicks

On a younger team that’s, seemingly, on their way up, they could stand to add a guy like Trevor Ariza as well. You know he’s a Tom Thibodeau kind of guy, of the no-nonsense variety and still a very capable defender, plus there’s something else.

They were among the most efficient three point shooting teams last season, but they didn’t shoot a ton of them, ranking among the bottom there. Ariza could certainly be a help there and especially with their resident-shooter, Reggie Bullock, set to become a free agent.
