The Miami Heat are known for many things. They are known for their Culture, whether you buy it or not and with a reputation that proceeds itself.

They are known for hard work. They are known for effort.

They are known for being disciplined. They are known for Pat Riley, all of his exploits, the Big 3, and blah blah blah.

They are known for a whole heck of a lot. Something that only the most hardcore of NBA and Miami Heat fans might know though, is their prowess for developing talent.

More than that, not only can they develop it, but they have a special kind of eye for actually finding it. They routinely grab guys that go undrafted, fall to the second round, or even fall out of the league entirely and then proceed to turn them into meaningful NBA players, key rotational guys, or even… max-type players.

One of the more recent guys that they’ve gotten their hands on and unleashed as a weapon, a guy that couldn’t stick with several NBA teams, for some reason, before landing in Miami, is Max Strus. A lethal shooter when he’s on, he’s caught the eye of a few people.
