The Phoenix Suns fell to the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals this year. If possible, the Miami Heat should look to capitalize on that.

Chris Paul has a player option worth around $40 million this offseason. With the current state of the team, and at his age, he’ll likely take that option to stay with the Suns.

While they were able to make the Finals this past year, changes are always likely. They want to be back in that same position next season, so they might try to shake things up a little bit.

Even if they did want to bring back the exact same roster, some of their players are going to enter free agency this offseason. Financially speaking, they may not be able to pay everyone what they want to get paid.

This leaves the door open for teams like the Miami Heat. Other organizations will likely attempt to poach some of Phoenix’s role players with either a promise of a larger role or more money.

This is where the Heat come into play. Some of the Suns’ best role players would fit in super well with the current rotation in Miami.

The Miami Heat are going to look to be players in free agency this offseason. With the depth the Suns had last season, some of their better role players could be on the move.

This just begs the question – which players would be of most interest to the Miami Heat? Who could they look to steal from the Phoenix Suns this offseason?
