The Miami Heat are going to have a decent amount of cap space to work with this offseason. In addition, they have some serious holes in the roster to fill out.

With Kendrick Nunn entering restricted free agency this offseason, it could be time for a new point guard. He’ll be asking for a lot of money that the Heat may not be willing to pay.

Goran Dragic could be gone this summer as well. He has a $19.4 million team option which is likely a lot more than a 35-year-old point guard is worth.

In addition, the Miami Heat have had a hole at power forward ever since Jae Crowder signed with the Suns. Kelly Olynyk and Trevor Ariza found some success at the position, but neither was ever considered a long-term solution.

With the amount of financial wiggle room they have, this could be their best chance to add to their core. Jimmy Butler is getting up there in age, but Bam Adebayo still has a long career ahead of him.

Signing veterans to fill out the bench would be ideal, but there are also some great young players they can target this summer. Certain teams have made it known that they won’t be matching offers for their restricted free agents.

If the Miami Heat can sign one of these younger players, it would help set them up for right now and the future. Pairing Adebayo up with someone else around his age would be amazing.

So who are the best restricted free agents the Miami Heat can target this offseason? How possible is it that they sign one?
