Miami Heat: 3 teams that could trade for Tyler Herro this offseason

Teams most likely to trade for Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro: Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons landed the first pick in this year’s NBA Draft, so building a core of young talent is at the forefront of their mind. Tyler Herro would be the perfect running mate for projected first-overall pick Cade Cunningham.
Cunningham is a 6-8 point guard who can do everything on the court. When he was asked about who he models his game after, the first person that came to mind was Luka Doncic.
Surrounding Cunningham with shooters should be priority number one moving forward. Herro would be able to provide dynamic scoring to help take the load off of Cunningham.
The logistics of the trade would be tough to iron out. The only real asset the Miami Heat would want in return is probably Jerami Grant.
Grant joined the Pistons last offseason on a hefty contract and was in the running for Most Improved Player last year. Detroit would probably be hesitant to move him since he was by far their best player last season.
If they were to trade him, however, it would open up the doors for a full rebuild in Detroit. They could roll out a starting lineup of Killian Hayes, Cunningham, Herro, Saddiq Bey, and Isaiah Stewart.
Adding Grant would fill out the power forward role in Miami, and they would likely be able to dump Andre Iguodala’s salary in that deal. It would also mean they could still be players in free agency.
Herro would fit in super well in Detroit as they rebuild from the ground up. At the very least, that young core would be super fun to watch.
