Miami Heat fans are an aggressive bunch to start with and to say the least. However, something must be said.

It’s starting to get weird if you are a Miami Heat supporter on social media. If it wasn’t already before, fans seem to have an issue when it comes to everything that Tyler Herro does.

Personally, I do not really understand why Miami fans have such an issue with what he does in the offseason. Maybe it’s because of the fact that we live in an era where athletes post everything on social media.

Herro has been in the gym this offseason, whether he has posted it on social media or not. Even when Herro does show his workouts to social media, it’s still not good enough for “Heat fans”.

People on Twitter, for example, think it’s a personality trait or something, always commenting on Herro at all times and about what he’s up to. I cant put my finger on why the fan base has turned on him so quickly.

The Miami Heat’s enigmatic and upcoming third-year guy, Tyler Herro, is a hot topic on social media. Some fans should really just let the guy live his life though.

In another example and at Miami’s Rolling Loud music festival, rapper, Jack Harlow, hit the stage to perform his song called “Tyler Herro“, obviously named after the Kentucky Wildcat (Harlow’s Home State) and Miami Heat star. Harlow had Herro on stage with him and Miami fans lost their minds over it.

The moment I saw this, I went to twitter and said “I Cant wait for Heat fans to cry about this”. Oh and did Miami fans cry and complain about Herro attending rolling loud.

God forbid a twenty one year old attends a festival and has a good time. Anybody with a brain would not have a problem with this, but people act like Herro isn’t in the gym working at all.

By looking at social media and Herro at rolling loud, you can tell that Herro has been hitting the weights so far this summer.  This past season was obviously a disappointment for him, but fans are so quick to blame everything on him alone.

I know by reading this you are probably thinking that I am a big Herro defender, but I’m not. I expected a little more out of him this past season too, but he is still a young player who has a ton of room to grow.

But you have had to have had enough of social media reacting to everything he does, right? I sure am and the point is this.

Let people live their lives in the offseason. I don’t care who you are, people need free time because life is too short not to enjoy it.
