The Miami Heat are certainly looking to get better in a hurry this offseason and that may mean adding guys with steep prices. With that notion though, that also means that they will still have to fill out the roster, but with efficiently priced options.

Shelving those facts for a second. Attention now turns to Memphis, where one former Miami Heat player, specifically, finds himself in a bit of limbo.

With Memphis shipping off Jonas Valanciunas, they upgraded both of their draft picks in the upcoming draft, while also landing a direct replacement for JV in Steven Adams. Here’s the thing though, with Memphis accepting a larger salary in return, it puts said former Miami Heat player in jeopardy of being ousted as a cap casualty of some proportion.

That player is, none other than, Justise Winslow. Once thought to be apart of the point-forward wave of the future, Winslow has just found it too hard to establish and/or maintain his footing over the last few seasons.

Though you thought he was starting to find it during the Point-Justise Era of Miami Heat ball, things just never completely came together after that for him.
