Tyler Herro’s name has been constantly thrown around in trade rumors this offseason. While reports have indicated the Miami Heat could look to trade him, it is unclear whether or not that is true.
Up until this point, he has been treated as one of the core building blocks of the Miami Heat. Ever since his electric playoff performance in 2020, people have fallen in love with Herro.
However, after a disappointing 2021 playoffs, granted it was only four games, some began to question his work ethic. People began to believe that he was spending too much time focusing on off-the-court antics, rather than perfecting his craft on the court.
Regardless, Herro seemingly shut down the noise recently. He stated that he was fully focused on basketball and was no longer going to pay attention to the recent trade rumors.
With all that being said, Herro is by far the best trade asset the Miami Heat have at their disposal. Trading him may be the best way to acquire some elite talent to pair alongside Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
Even if the players they get in return aren’t superstars, they would ideally have the potential to turn into one. While Herro still has plenty of room to grow, trading him now could yield a solid return.
Lots of news outlets have released trades involving Tyler Herro that the Miami Heat could do. Some have a star coming back to Miami, while others allow the Heat to explore other young options.
Which of these trades should the Miami Heat pass on? More importantly, which trades should they look to pursue?
