2021 NBA free agency is officially here. Later today, the Miami Heat and other teams can begin negotiating with players on deals for next season.

Thus far, it seems as though the Miami Heat have been involved in every free agency rumor imaginable. From the big-name players to the low-cost veterans, the Heat always get brought up.

Well, if it weren’t already obvious, they can’t sign everyone. Pat Riley will have to pick and choose who to pursue this summer in order to put the Heat in the best position possible to win.

With all that in mind, who are the most realistic players the Miami Heat can sign in free agency? What’s the best, most realistic scenario?

This rumor has been going on for weeks, and it seems as though a deal is imminent. The Miami Heat even accepted Goran Dragic’s team option, leaving the door open for a sign-and-trade.

Though paying Lowry a ton of money at his age isn’t ideal, he would certainly improve this team. His leadership and playstyle fit in perfectly with what Miami should be looking for.

It would create a big three of Lowry, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo that would be able to legitimately compete in the Eastern Conference. They would be one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.

Lowry would also improve their offense dramatically. He is a great playmaker and a super-efficient three-point shooter that is able to elevate everyone else around him.
