The Miami Heat have been busy this offseason. They have made multiple new additions to help fix weaknesses in the squad while preparing for the 2021-22 NBA season.

All of these signings help the Heat in one way or another but some are more significant than others. With that being said here are my grades for every single offseason move the Heat have made so far.

Victor Oladipo: A

This is the ultimate low-risk, high-reward move for the Miami Heat. Signing Victor Oladipo to a minimum contract was a real blessing for Miami.

If Oladipo can come back and be the same player that he was before his injury, he could be a real factor in Miami going all the way. Even if he is 60% of the player he was, Oladipo can still be a big help for Miami, whether that be in a starting role or a bench role.

Even more promising, is the fact that if Oladipo comes back healthy and plays well, the Heat retain his bird rights. This means that they can go above the salary cap to sign him to a bigger contract.

If Oladipo can come back healthy, Miami will be one of the top two teams in the East and will surely become title contenders. They would definitely be the best defensive team in the league and teams would be hard-pressed to score on them with all of the defensive additions they added, including Oladipo.
