The Miami Heat added three new players to their team for this season. They had one of the best free agencies in the entire league.

Kyle Lowry joined the team on a three-year, $85 million deal. After that, Miami signed veteran forwards PJ Tucker and Markieff Morris as well.

They also managed to bring back a few key players to round out their team including Duncan Robinson and Max Strus. These additions won’t work out in favor of everyone, though.

With the addition of new talent comes the addition of more minutes. Players like Lowry and Tucker are going to be receiving starter-type minutes.

Based on all the new signings, which former players are going to be affected the most? Who’s going to lose the most playing time this year?

Miami Heat players set to lose playing time: KZ Okpala

KZ Okpala has played two NBA seasons but unfortunately has been unable to reach his full potential yet. He hasn’t shown Miami much during his time on the court.

He already wasn’t seeing a ton of playing time last season, and that number will only decrease this year. Okpala might end up falling out of the rotation completely.

With players like Tucker and Morris coming in, the Heat will have a fairly solid forward rotation. Add Jimmy Butler, Robinson, and Strus into that mix, and Okpala is going to have to fight real hard to earn any minutes.

Barring any unforeseen injuries, the Heat may not play Okpala much at all this year. His playing time will certainly take a massive hit.
